DJI's original 'workhorse' professional UAS, the Inspire 1, is equipped with a 12 MP, 360 degree rotatable 4K/UHD video/still camera. The Inspire 1's work load is usually divided between two people--a pilot and a camera operator--working in tandem to ensure on-site safety and professional results. We own and fly two of these fine aircraft which we use primarily for rural aerial mapping purposes.
With a 25 minute per battery flight time and a 1" CMOS sensor, the Phantom 4 Pro's camera produces stunning 20 megapixel photos & cinematic quality video in 4K Ultra High Definition. With its mechanical shutter, the P4 Pro camera records precise geotagged images enabling extremely accurate aerial mapping results in tandem with our EMLID GNSS receivers. We're proud to own and fly two P4 series aircraft.
The DJI Phantom 3 Professional UAV was the first prosumer UAV to be equipped with a 4K HD camera. The P3 Pro was our original 'Go To' UAV/sUAS for small to medium size aerial mapping and survey projects. We've invested over $2,300.00 in this drone and its accessories since original purchase, and are now looking to pass on this classic sUAS/drone to you for the incredible price of ONLY $880.00! See our Townpost.ca/ ad for additional details and photographs.
Small , nimble, and extremely capable, the Mavic Air UAS is equipped with a super-stable miniaturized 3 axis gimbal and 12 MP 4K/UHD camera. When operating a larger UAV like the Inspire 1 isn't appropriate, the Mavic Air can be put to work unobtrusively, with consistently good results. Accordingly, the Mavic Air is our UAS of choice when working in urban or built-up environments.
Videography is, at its heart, filmmaking. Aerial storytelling has to start somewhere, and that's usually on the ground. That's where our two state-of-the-art Fuji X-series cameras mounted DJI and Feiyutech gimbals come into play. The combination of professional cameras and stabilization gimbals allow us to record stable, terrestrial 4K video ideally matched to the rock-solid UHD/4K footage our UASs capture in the air.
CADS owns and operates 2 top-of-the-line EMLID Reach RS+ GNSS receivers. These incredible RTK & PPK-capable machines allow CADS's ground-based operators, in tandem with precisely geotagged photographic ground control point (GCP) data captured by our UASs, to produce extremely accurate (1 - 2 centimeters typical in x-y-z axes) aerial maps.
